Living isn't living if it's only done by half
When the soul lives with darkness so does the heart
Where a dark prison dwells somewhere in the soul
Secrets and fear keep a strong hold

Living with the past isn't living at all
 For we surrender to the pain if it cannot be controlled
 It never really can be once its buried deep inside
 For a trigger will awaken it and again you board the ride
 The heart wrenching pain that you thought was done
 Comes back again and again for a run
 To live a happy life to the best it can be
 You have to accept your past so you can live free
 Choices made through life will always effect
 But accepting your past will heal all the rest
 Then you can live life
 To it's very best
