Never Judge

Never Judge

A Poem by silent-tear
"

This was written after my bro died

"

He’s just a drug addict – he’s no good
He had a choice – and look
But wait - he’s someone’s son

Daughter
Brother
Sister
Friend
Lover
Mother
Father

You should never judge a book by its cover
No one knows the stories that lead him or her here
No one can really know what he or she fear
Lost souls – searching for some right
They found their escape
Bought in the night
With one push – swallow or sniff
They escaped reality
And found their only bliss
No fear found here – everything’s ok
So a habit builds by the day
So don’t look and judge – who’s passed out on the ground
But understand this could be a lost soul longing to be found

Such a very true piece. Well written and I think people that need help are just that. No one should judge them but lend a hand in helping them recover. I guess if one does judge perhaps they have never had someone close to them ever need help. I thank you for writing this piece. I am sorry for your loss.
