Son of a KingA Poem by Sirius King
Son of a King (Poem by Serenus)
When I have my son… I will inform him of his birthright That he was born of a King And must learn how to live a king’s life...
From my birth My father (here on earth) Only taught me about Disappointment and hurt I refuse to continue this curse…
Dear unborn prince, I will teach
you Without a wince... About love, honor and loyalty And how to
conduct yourself as royalty I will instill in you morals And high self-esteem So you can properly rule your kingdom And be fit for a Queen
I will warn you Don’t let any of your dreams fester Even when the world treats you Like your a court jester Don’t you dare hold your head down Don’t let anyone steal your crown Stand strong!... Because you are never alone I will never let anyone come And overthrow your thrown
You will know of your bloodline And your heritage Your limitless spiritual riches And you’re God given inheritance
My unborn son With a smile (I know) Will beam as bright as the sun You shall want for not a thing For you are a king, Born of a king Who serves The King of all kings! The Ruler and Master of all things! © 2012 Sirius KingAuthor's Note
