Memories in a casketA Poem by SeuwandiI lost my father 2 years ago, this poem holds my feelings
When the casket closed,
With it, closed my last view of you, You left in a closed casket, opening up hundreds of forgotten memories of you and me Appachi, Opening up wounds that would take years to heal The casket closed, that strong person I once knew gone into a long deep sleep, Leaving behind Amma and me thinking of you for many sleepless nights to come, I wish I could end this eternal torture of missing you like a closed chapter in a book, It is not that easy with vivid memories slapping me every now and then, In a casket closed you left, never truly leaving from our hearts
