Lost in a maze of thoughts
forgotten  paths filled with darkness
well treaded paths, so often passed by
then, of course there are  paths filled with sunshine

The daily path to sunshine for most is one that leads forward, however they will still stray to one side, just to the edge of the darkness. Yours is a worthy and Interesting take on that aspect of human experience.
