To Hold Dear

Here is a lesson to remember,

keep you heart hidden,

Protect it with everything you've got,

never let your tears take hold,

they are more precious than any gold,

Don't fight if you don't know what you're fighting for,

Words will sting harder than any dagger,

never be swayed by prince charming,

there is no such thing as perfection in the world,

when you have a friend,

it's alright to test them,

a best friend will lift you up and catch you when you fall,

don't trust easily,

consider everyone a wolf in sheep's clothing,,

and when you find someone who'll hold your weight,

you better do the same.

And when you fall in love,

it's when you live with no regrets,

never look behind you,

or you'll miss what's in front of you,

so there is my lesson for you,

in a world lacking of rules,

all because love knows no bounds,

in these awesome chaotic bonds.
