Parachute

A poem for a friend, one from across the ocean who always has a spare minute for me.

So far away yet still you know.
My extra wings when I'm feeling low.
A common cause brought us together,
We now share a bond like no other.

You always know what to say
And keep me smiling whist my emotions fray.
You keep me sane, I owe you this much,
A lifetime of gratitude and love and such.
