A Jealous Sister

A Jealous Sister

A Poem by Aradie Rain
"

My little sister is 2 and a half. She will have a life that I never got.

"

Never will they understand,

the need I have to be played with.

To be picked up and swung around.

Be tickled till I cry.

To be called Daddy's little girl.

I want to run into their room,

on christmas morning,

and go Daddy Daddy wake up!

But I'm too old now.

Replaced by a new baby.

She gets all the love.

I never got it.

Not one day in the life

of "My little girl."

I watch them now.

Playing in the park,

swinging on swings and sliding down slides.

Laughing and giggling.

I can't help to loath her.

My sweet baby sister.

For she will have the family I never had.
