We now live in a world of pain
But this pain goes unseen
Here the weather is always rain
And life is losing its sheen

We now live in a world of greed
Money is now sought over love
The people's needs are paid no heed
The Vulture has replaced the Dove

We now live in a world where evil wins
We now must pay societies sins
