A Moment of Your Lifetime

tell me what you think of this concept, plz!

it only takes a moment
to show that you care
it only takes a lifetime
to prove a trust that isnt there.

it only takes a moment
to proffer a loving heart
it only takes a lifetime
to piece back together what was torn apart.

it only takes a moment
to turn one into two
it only takes a lifetime
to try and heal a pain you cant undo.

it only takes a moment
to say "i love you" in an offhand way
but remember: it'll take a lifetime
to mean that which you cannot say.
