Backward Glance

Backward Glance

A Poem by Sherry

I like to stroll beneath immense spreading trees

Glittering lights in the distance

Like fireflies illuminating the night

And I find my way

It feels so good to wonder to the ends of the wood

And discern upon backward glance

I'll find bread crumbs to lead me home
