Always the Night There

Always the Night There

A Poem by Tra-ya
"

A journal-style verse, written in a moment of reflection on life, despair, and humans.

"
Men, I deduced, are but a pathetic race plaguing whatever is good and valuable
Life, I Inferred, is just to be liven because it's given to me
Nor any mortal lit a fire,
And no setting incited a hope inside me
Not that I was barren of any emotion
Only that I rode down the hill, very deep down
So deep that it was always the night there
