You and Me

You and Me

A Poem by Tra-ya
"

A poem of admiration

"

Sun and moon we'll make up

You and Me, I thought

Because I wanted to be moon

Cool and poetry material

And you've shined so bright,

The light that stays longer

Because you are what I see

More than what I be

Guess I was wrong-

I was no moon, not a bite

I didn't mirror your light

I was on the ground, while you shined

Immensely farther away, light years apart

My eyes cherished your images

While my visions made me a part of it.

Truly the stars you are!

For we are more one when in my slumber

Than we can be if I were the great Kepler
