TransitionA Poem by DanielleI may change this later on. Don't think I really like the ending.
Into the mirror she stares
A reflection of a girl Lost and still looking A simple woman She seeks to be But the pain speaks eloquently A woman she can't grasp A girl she can't trust Trading love for lust A heart that was so eager A girl that desired and admired A real kind of Love Looking into the mirror She chooses to no longer cry To seek men and destroy A little ploy Innocent she used to be Until it was taken repeatedly Heart so pure turned to ice A girl so sweet, simple, and nice That girl's reflection Changing into A different kind of woman She's about to play her most famous role In the story of how this girl's heart Once ripped apart Got a lovely new start
