An innocent love affair

We share

I am wholeheartedly there

A palette of art

From a mysterious heart

I am a part

Of your masterpiece

I seek to release 

These dark thoughts

I never gave the credit you deserve

These words I reserve 

To serve

I shall live only for you 

For it is you only that can undo

A soul bruised blue

Although not religious myself I can honestly say I adore this poem--

I'm not entirely sure why, maybe its because most religious pieces I've read always seem corny to me, but the way you word your love for God is just beautiful and I admire it. In regards to your beliefs, I bet he's up there blushing ;]

It makes sense that only God could heal the blues --being an infliction of the soul. Also, I sort of get from this perhaps God used too much blue in His masterpiece and just needs to touch it up a bit. The meter and flow look good in this write, which to me always indicates something truly from the heart... which can be no less than a masterpiece. Very nice!
