I found it

it caught the the sun on an overcast day
glinting
laying on the ground ready to be found before me
i stopped to wonder in its beauty
why didn't i leave it behind
i could of left it in its wonder
but i crossed my heart and stuck it my pocket
it was never meant for keeps
