before
left me here
with all these
 words
left me drained
feeling empty
but for the questions
they fill my head
refrained emotions
swell
i came to a place to feel the other side
 what i find
is all that remains
pain
 and memory
no more small talk at the kitchen table
no more
 little things
just regret
the rain feels different  
i cant feel it on my face
i came to a place to feel the other side of me
the life i lead
