Never Coming Home

It's slightly dark.

In a crevice imbedded in to the Earth

The place I used to know

Where the darkness stole my soul

To be forcefully deleted from my mind

Hoping that one would come

I stood looking and searching

But to my plea, no one is here to save me

Burnt edges of my mind

From lost hope and denial

It struck me harder then any blow

To know that I'll never come home.

The grave (literally or figuratively) stirs depression, loneliness, and sadness in us all. A brilliant write. Short and bittersweet. For some reason this reminds me of something Tool might do. Kudos.

Very dark and melancholy. I went through a small and I do mean small gothic phase where I wondered what other things out there existed but I never really waivered. I'm just glad as Little Lily said that I found my way back to the Lord. It really does help.

Very sad and creepy Sounded like what i went through when i didn't know who i was and lost my way to Jesus and life and many of my family members didn't know who i was But I didn't Give up or Give into the Darkness or Evil Nice Imagination here. God Bless my Friend take care
