how dare you leave me like this

you kept me going when it hurt to even breathe

when i could not stand being in my own skin 

you were there for me

when i felt like i would never know happiness

you showed me what it felt like to smile

you protected me from the demons that came

and you made me believe that i should never be afraid

your smile could turn my tears to laughter in a heartbeat

but you left

and now the mention of your name does nothing but stop my heart

the memory of your smile

remembering how safe i felt when you held me

how you would listen to every word i said like it was gold

does nothing but rip apart my soul

if you loved me so much why am i alone

you left me so suddenly

and even though it has been nearly two years

i still expect you to walk through the door with that stupid grin

and hold me in your arms and tell me you love me

i guess i will forever wait with my regrets

i should have made you stay home with me

i should not have asked you to go get that bread

maybe i should have just went with you.

So much bitter feelings and hurt. Evidently written, driven by strong emotions and hurt. I really am sorry if this happened. The ending was just... sad. Losing someone is probably the hardest thing to accept (ever), because wounds never really fully heal. They say that time heals, but I really don't believe that. I don't think we could ever forget those people who have left big impact in our lives... and that remembering them is a must to keep their good deeds alive...
