Purple

in memory of those that died this past week and for support of the gay community I hope you all know that someone loves you very much <3

you have blonde hair

I have black

 

you have fancy clothes

I wear what i find comfy

 

you play your sports

I like to read

 

you laugh at others

I smile and give hugs

 

you look down on everyone

I try to lift eveyone up

 

you force people to see themselves as worthless

I work to show them how they are great

 

you watch people crumble and smirk

I panic trying to glue them together

 

you tell people that they should die no one loves them

I try to love them

 

you watch the news

I watch it to

 

you sit quietly as his face comes up

I break down in tears

 

you ignore it

I wear purple and hope this haunts you forever

I am gay and very proud to be so. I know what it is like to be hated and have people tell you that the world would be so much better without me. I also learned that was not true at all and that many people love me just like I am. I hope everyone can realized that and if not I am always more than happy to listen and try to help you in any way I possibly can. <33

I understand that people go through a lot of things when they are gay...but you should always be proud of who you are. I have a good friend that is gay. He is a very nice person though. Thanks for sharing.

honestly one of my clostest friends ever is gay and he FRIGGN AWSOME!!! ^^ so yeah i dont hate gays and lesbians, but i think my friends rock half of em r gay 2 ^^ and plus like what blossom said i love em all the same 2 n im hyper right now ate to much sugar

I have no resentment towards gays and lesbians, In fact I have a lot of friends that are gay. and I love them all the same, cause in the end they are still people and they deserve to be loved. I also wore purple today, come to think of it, I think I've worn it everyday this past week and it wasn't even intentional. I love the poem and its so emotional and it shows your feelings. I pay respects to those that have passed and wish they would've been given a second chance in life. I'm proud that you're proud being who you are. it makes me really happy. Btw. Again, I love the poem.
