Goodbye

It's a poem I wrote when I was in 6th grade (10-11 yo) about a boy I had a crush on, and that I knew I would never see again.

She looked at him
He looked back.
She looked away to shy to ask
"Goodbye," she whispered.

This is the last time she'd see him,
He knows it
But what to say he does not know.

Tears in her eyes she walks away,
"This is the end," she whispers.
He watches her until she disappears,
"Goodbye," he says.
