Perfect love at a wrong time.

Against Us

Our greatest enemy is our bloodline,

Going against it is a crime.

Destiny doesn't want us together,

But I will love you forever.

If we just met at the right time

Surely, we'll love each other at a time.

But, we met with relation

And it hurts cause it's God's decision.

Love is like a double-edged sword,

Good and bad things cannot be ignored,

Pure bliss and grief will never be seperated,

Like how you and I are interconnected.

Feelings are like a bubble,

Love and concerns could be unavailable.

Mysterious gaze and touch will be despicable,

It's how you and I are unacceptable.

Love will always be on top.

Never waste a single tear drop,

You and I are chained to each other,

And I will wait for us to be together.

Your poem is raw but delicate, and conveys so much emotion for a few brief lines. You certainly convey pain and despair, but also strength and hope (i.e., "chained together"). It's a difficult balance to strike in a poem, but you've achieved it here. Nice work.
