DiscoverA Poem by C.B.Slam poetry, the second one. This one's a little different, definitely a different meaning. It's just a lot of fun to write.

She called out to all of us
And said poetry isn’t crazy.
I don’t remember her name but
I remember that I disagreed.
Poetry – I think the only way
You’ll understand
Is if I yell those pieces of
Literary curse words, crazy bits of bad grammar and misplaced commas.
But do you hear me?
When he spoke, he said
Society lost something when thoughts Were written down, trapped in a leather
Binding.
One has to DISCOVER thought now,
Well let me say that
I’m taking this opportunity to TELL you
What I’m thinking. Now, thoughts are discovering you.
Your books have no lives,
Their words do not grow in volume
To exemplify something
BIG, something HUGE, something IMPORTANT.
And anything subtly noted does not whisper
Suggestive implications that might prove
USEFUL.
At a later date.
If you were to read this in a book
You wouldn’t understand
Most of this is just crazy bits of improv
And very little rhyme.
This is an INSANE amount of thought and I swear
Writing it is making me talk to myself.
But did you know that poetry is crazy?
