Love gone wrong

I am so sick of love

and broken hearts

These lover quarrels

And hopeless fights

Hurtful words

and sleepless nights

 

Im so sick of being left empty

And wanting more

Pointless arguments

and slamming doors!

When did love become such a chore?

 

And when did our love

curdle over

And start to stink

like rotten milk

What happened to the romantic dinners

And sheets of silk?

When did our love

Start to dry up

Then peel and crack

Just like old paint

When did it weaken,  dim

And then grow faint.

When did it turn dark and cold

just like the night

and when  did we give up

and decide

our love

was not worth the fight?

 

And can you please tell me

what happened to the love

that we once so blisfully shared

Because I just cant seem to find it anywhere?

And what was it that

Made us grow tired,

starved our desire,

and put out that fire

that  

ultimately,  

and Sadly

made our

Love go off

and expire.
