Reflection

I thought i memorized every feature
I thought i could guess your every move
I thought i knew you inside out
I guess that wasn't true

I thought i knew that you would be different
I thought i knew that you would care
I thought i knew that you were happy
I though i recognized your stare

I thought i knew that you'd never change
But now the only thing i see
Is that this reflection isn't what i thought it was
Or what i wanted it to be

I thought i knew you

very good write. I agree with Brian we think we know some one and then find out that we don't know them at all. it is like a secret in the dark. keep it up.

Very good poem, you did a superb job. Sometimes we may think we know a person, but don't know more than they know about themselves.
