Right there in my bed

A ballad I wrote for my band

The day I found out I was mad
I was a nervous wreck
I wanted to get a rope
and tie it round his neck

I went to the store and bought myself
3 feet of climbing rope
and a box of rohypnal
and started to plan and hope

I was gonna kill you
kill you both stone dead
kill you for what you did
right there in my bed

I got in my car
put in my key
didn't have an idea
we'd just have to see
 
Went on down to your place
said a little prayer
prepared myself for revenge
coz revenge is only fair

I burst down the door
saw you on the chair
with your hands wrapped
in his dark blonde hair

then I saw your smile
playing on your lips
looked around his neck
saw a crucifix

I saw you were happy
happy as can be
happier with him
then you ever were with me

Then I gave my bessing
wished you all the best
'cause I just cant kill him
if he brings you happiness
