Paramore Girl

So there's a boy I like

but he doesn't like me

he sits over there

and I know he sees

when he looks at me

just a girl

in a Paramore tee.

Now I know he'll never

see more than just this

but, boy, what would I give

for a single kiss

so if you see

a girl sitting there

just remember there's

always  more where

she came from.

 

And, please,

don't judge a girl by her tee.

Okay, so there really is a guy I like and I really do have a Paramore tee (which he doesn't like) and this was just me doodling in my notebook and giving Mr. Gorgeous Puppy-Dog Eyes in the middle of first hour. Thought it was amusing.

When I was your age I did the same, but not about girls or love. Have you taken a poetry class? It would help you drop words not needed, use more colorful structure and set your meter.
Don't throw this stuff away! I still have mine & will use it. And I/m 60!
