"Is It Summer Vacation Yet?"

This school year is dragging along this quarter,

Especially this very frightening poetry project,

Our Don Estridge class of 2016 is almost over,

Everyday completing a new poetry packet,

These days feels like they are only getting slower,

There is no need any more to use a jacket,

From the beginning of August to the end of May,

I have been in this school every single day.
