Stllness

Stllness

A Poem by Jen Walters

Stillness is a gift of might,
That lasts throughout the night.
It calms the mind,
And extends through time.
Stillness is beautiful and true,
I beg you to see it when you are blue.
Stillness has a healing arm,
And will do you no harm.
For in Stillness you will find,
What you have lost throughout your time.
Stillness brings peace of mind,
And never leaves you standing in line.
For as long as we have Stillness,
We will never have a mess.
It calms our soul,
And directs you where to go.
Precious Stillness never leave,
For when you are here my chest doesn't heave.
Please extend your loving arm,
So I may feel at last safe and warm.

Best days are when we hold silence and good people near. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I need stillness to calm my bouts of anxiety or when a lack of oxygen takes over me, team it no no noise at all and calm will soon come to me
