Chained

I was never free as a bird

Been chained to my fears

The things I wanted to do

I hide them in these walls

I had cried a salty river

Thinking just weak I was

Lost every courage to try

And I'm drowned in misery

These fears inside my soul

Creates the anxiety in me

Wanted to throw them all away

And be free on these chains

I close my eyes in solemn

And look up to Almighty God

Here on my bended knees I pray

A strength to let go of these chains
