Tears in the Rain

At the park I sit with a heavy heart

Lights sparkle as people pass by

I felt pain prick inside

Then rain started falling to my skin

I stood on my knees

I walk with tears in the rain

Like raindrops they accumulate

In the rain they resemble my pain
