smileA Chapter by Ravi ThejaAs I limped back along the dirty road, the cold and still air struck me. I looked up into the dark skies, for any sign of nimbus. Instead, it was clear. So clear, I could count the stars, twinkling innocently and looking upon us like little fairies. Amidst them, shining with a greyish silvery tinge, sat the great white moon. The beautiful full moon. He glanced at me. Again, and then again. He noticed that I had something hidden deep inside me, something I have been longing to say, something that needs to be said, to someone special. Someone, who at that moment, was miles away, and sleeping, with a beautiful smile across her beautiful face. © 2008 Ravi Theja |
