As Memory Fades, the Sun Still Shines!

Now that I've found my inner gift

I want to write all day,

There's so many thoughts inside my head

So much I want to say.

Time to get up and go to work

Shower, then brush my teeth,

A couple of thoughts have filled my head

Hurry!!  Pen and paper please.

There, I've got it, it's written down

So it doesn't escape my mind,

I find it harder and harder these days

Middle age has not been kind.

But I take it with a grain of salt

And don't forget the Corona w/lime,

I'll bask in the beauty of the Florida sun

And say, "at last, it's finally my time!"

I totally connect with this. If I come up with an idea I have to write it down then and there, rather on paper, a napkin, I've even written on my arm before. Good work.
