Handed over a dollar

Given bread, a little thing

 

But people are multitudes

A majority but not enough

So when frugal days outnumber nights

I think of how the dollar overwhelms us

I think this is a fabulous political and social commentary on the state of our economy. There is so much for so few and so little for the multitudes. Bravo!
