Welcome drowning

Parts of you move in and around me.
Like an under toe current licking at my body, swirling around me, you pull me down.
In a world of muffled sounds and flashing lights.
I grasp for anything to stabilize me as I try to keep control.
Suspended, suffocating, I give in and go under only to realize here I can breath.

It's interesting that drowning can sometimes be used to accentuate a positive experience. You wielded that usage well here.
