Rays of Storms

A friend sent me a picture and asked me to write a poem, so I did.

Ray of Storms

In the storms of my heart, you brew.
A mystery unsolvable to the world below. 

How is it oh sky that you come alive,
when darkness covers the light?
You still shine through a radiant night,
you will over come the world.
light from the heaven, a beautiful pearl,
rare and unknown to the world below.
In awe we stand, oh sky we will never know.

Shine down the golden rays,
cast these shadows away.
Free my heart from that, that plagues our souls. 

Destroy these bounds,
so we may dream on.
Oh sky let thy spirit run till dawn.
