Love and hope

My heart is telling me

Something I have failed to hear

For the many suns and moons I see

No one has felt so dear.

As the winds string me a song

I close my eyes and breathe

For too much time I've longed

For you not to leave.

I have been blinded by many

Though no one as good as you

Why must love surprise me?

When all I want is you.

Simple can say so much. You did a pretty good job with the rhyming (something I find really hard to do) and still getting that longing across. The last two lines were my favorite part. Love throws so many surprises, not all of them desirable. I also like the image of the wind stringing a song, even if I'm not quite sure what you meant. I was guessing it was like strumming a song. Anyway, it was a really interesting and almost soothing way to put it. And the use of the wind was a good symbol. The winds of change. A message carried on the wind. Like I said, so much can be said in even the simplicist of poems.

This is very nicely done Sofea. Honest and simple. I like it very much.
You seemed to have had a bit of trouble in the third lines in 2 of the stanzas, and it feels just a bit forced. May I suggest:
2nd stanza- for too much time I've longed
3rd stanza- why must love surprise me
