Where was my mind

Many years ago?

I have no idea

Do you know?

It wasn't with me

That's for sure

Because those words

Just felt so much more

Why did you say it

If you didn't mean it?

You knew back then

That I would belive it

Also back then

Was I the only one

Who knew the meaning

Of a word that just won

My heart when it was said

The 'forever' in best friends forever

Didn't have a meaning to you

But to me it meant always together

What did the 'forever'

Mean to you?

I guess it didn't mean much at all

Because look at what you do

Excluding me

From the 'forever'

Won't make

Anything better

Okay. I LOVE the idea of this poem but it just seems a little off. Like the style and whatnot. Whatever. I like it!

My favorite part was

but i do think it would sound better like this,
" i guess forever didn't have a meaning to you"
i just think the best friends part makes it cheesy.

BUT GOOD JOB :)
