A poem about my friend! :) We met because neither one of use made the cheerleading squad we tried out for, hence the last line.

Looking back on our lives

Who would have thought

This is where we would be

 

Both in similar positions

As to who we now are

And the way we now see

 

A friendship full of ups and downs

Of moments to be remembered

And some better left forgotten

 

Now I thank you my dear Chelsee Rei

For you’ve gone above and beyond

The duty of a friend

 

And heaven knows

That I thank God

I never made that damn cheerleading squad
