underneath the covers
she lies au naturel flawlessly peach creamed over brittle bones sunrise peaks through delicate curtains reflecting ivory silks stained by pretentious perfume the cat purrs perishing bewitched by the frail object spiralled securely in slumber sunlight gushes in gratefully whispering to her lifeless lashes still the cat purrs imploring its caretaker suppressed under shadows mirroring the feline emancipated furtive for a feast famished by fear frenzied for freedom © 2011 solitare |
