The Raft is Finished

Chapter 3

 

 

I woke up by a sound of a voice. It sounded like Sora. I opened my eyes to see Sora leaning over me. I blushed deeply and quickly sat up.

"Sora!"
"Sorry. Didn't mean to wake you." He put his hands up in defence.
"Nah. It's ok, Sora. Did you know the island looked beautiful in the dark?"
"No. Were you afarid?"
"No. It was peaceful actually." I smirked at him.
"It's good to see you wake, Danny."
 
We both turned to see Riku and Kairi looking at us.

"How'd you sleep, Danny?" asked Kairi.
"I slept fine to tell the truth." I answered.
"Did anything attacked you?" Riku asked a little worried.
"No. If I did, wouldn't I be all scratch up?" I asked.
Riku blushed and said, "Maybe." Riku looked away and started to walk off. "Well let's get to work."

We worked on the raft again today. Mostly Sora and I were goofing around. Riku kept glaring at us. We stood still and acted all innocent. Riku looked away from us and went back to what he was doing. Sora and I looked at each other and laughed.

"I never smiled or laugh this much before." I told Sora.
"Really? I can make you smile and laugh all day!" he exclaimed happily.  I laughed and agreed with him.

A couple of hours passed by and we were talking about the place I was from. It looked they wanted to come back home with me. Hayden would tackle Sora and Dawn will tackle Riku. Hayden's idol is Sora and Dawn's idol is Kairi. I,Danny, likes Cloud Strife and Sora. After a while, we took a break. We all sat by the shore looking at the water. Sora was telling me why they want to go to different worlds. Riku and Wakka was play fighting again. Still don't want to know why. Kairi and Selphie were talking about something. Sora wants to meet Hayden and my friends. I told him to watch out for Ruben. Let's just say Ruben hates Kingdom Hearts. Everytime Hayden and I talks about it, Ruben would just walk off. I hate it when he does that.

I noticed it started to get dark. Its a good thing we finished with the raft. Sora and I walked to the dock and sat down. The others came as well. Sora was happy  I came because they would have someone else to talk with.

They got in their boats to go home. Sora asked me if I wanted to stay sleep at his house. Kairi hit him with her paddle. Riku and the others laughed. I laughed and answered, "Sure, Sora."

I hopped in his boat and started rowing. Maybe I should get a notebook and let everyone sign it for Hayden. Hayden will love the gift from me.
