Traverse Town

Chapter 5

"Danny!"

I turned to face Sora to see what was wrong.
It was a giant Heartless.
"Sora! We need to fight that thing!" I yelled at him.
He nodded, holding the Keyblade in his hands. I got in defence mode as the gaint Heartless came to attack us. We both dodge the attack and ran to attack it. The Heartless swung its arm at Sora.
"Sora!!" I yelled, "Ok! Have fun in the after life!"
I was angry. When the Heartless' arm went down. I ran up it's arm and slashed it in the face and back flipped away. I landed on my feet and ran to Sora to help him up.
"Look!" He pointed at the Heartless.
"Its fading..." I said.
Has the Heartless faded.
Everything went black...

"Danny? Danny, wake up."
"What happened?"
"Don't know but I think we're in another world."
I looked around. Sora was right. We were in another world. This is Traverse Town.
"Woof Woof!" We both turned to see a dog. It was Pluto. Sora walked up to the dog.
"Do you know where we are?" Sora asked the dog.
The dog ran off after that.
"Sora, let's walk around and find someone we can talk to."
Sora nodded. We walked into a shop. Sora saw an old guy next to the counter.
"How can I...Oh its only kids"
"We're not kids!" We said in union.
"Names Danny and he's Sora!" I said.
"Okay,okay, simmer down. Why the long face you two? Lost or something?" He asked.
"Where are we? Like what's the name of this world?" I asked him.
"The name is Cid and you're in Traverse Town." said Cid.
Another world, alright. I thought.
"Well we going look for our friends. Later Cid." I said.
"If you run into trouble, come back here. I'll look after you."He smlied at us as we walked out of the shop.

We walked into the next district. We see a man running and he falls. A Heartless steals his heart. We watch in horror and to scared to move.
"Its those creatures from the island!" screamed Sora, running towards the First District. I ran after him and headed towards Cid's shop. As we ran towards the shop, we see a man with some sort of blade. He jumped in the air and landed behind us, slashing at Heartless. The Heartless faded. The man turned around to face us.
"They'll come at you out of nowhere." He said.
"Who are you?" Sora asked.
"And they'll keep on coming at you, as long as you continue to wield the Keyblade.But why? Why would it choose two kids like you?"
"Is that surposed to be an insult." I said as I pointed the Keyblade at him.
"Challenging me?" He asked.

"Why yes of course." Getting ready to attack him.
"Big mistake." He said as he attacked me. I dodge and swung at him. He blocked it.
"Is this the best you can do?" He asked smirking at me. I glared at him and narrowing my eyes. I kicked his leg and he lost balance. I stood on my hands and swung my legs at him. He felled down and drop his blade. I took advantage of this and got ready to attack. He tried block the attack with his arm but I stopped. I pointed the Keyblade at him. He looked at me seeing that I stopped.

"You better tell us what were those things and why the Keyblade is in our hands." I said.
"I will tell you. By the way you're a good fighter."
"Thanx. I learned two styles of martials arts."
"What are they may I ask?"
"Kung Fu and Capoeira."

The man told us his name, Squall Leonheart, but we wants us to call him Leon. Someone named Yuffie joined us to the hotel room away from the Heartless.

"Those things you were attacked by are the Heartless. They're after the Keyblade that you two hold. It was the only way to conceal your heart from them. Still, hard to believe that you two, of all people are the chosen ones. Well, I suppose beggers can't be choosers." Said Leon.
"Why don't you start making some sense! What's going on here?" said Sora.
"What are the Heartless?" I asked.
"Those without hearts. The darkness in people's hearts--that's what attracts them. And there is darkness within every heart." Leon answered.
"So this is the key?" asked Sora holding up his Keyblade.
"Heartless has great fear of the Keyblade." said Leon.
"Well we didn't ask for this." I said.
"The Keyblade chooses its master and it chose you two." Yuffie joined in, "Strange. Sora has the real Keyblade, yet Danny has a different one."
"She must be destined to have one then." Leon agreed with Yuffie.
"Me? Destined to have a Keyblade?" I asked.

I looked at my Keyblade and wondered. The Keyblade chain was a music note. The handle was shaped like headphones. The tip of the Keyblade was purple and black and the sharp part was purple and black flames. Felt like my Keyblade was design just for me. I love music, purple, black, and flames. Never thought of having my own Keyblade before. This adventure...was getting ever interesting.

Wow. This was pretty good. The first Kingdom hearts fanfic I have read. I really liked it =]
I love KH. Cant wait for KH3 =]
