In the shadows lays the truth

Changing with each alteration

The stronger the love

The more we are imprisoned

The greatest control

Is the one that offers freedom

And losing freedom

Leads to love

Love of life

This is our dearest treasure

Although no one should fear death

Everyone should fear life

This light blinds

And it is from darkness that we learn

I agree for darkness is absolute, while the light revealing. One has a greater appreciation for everything once it is all gone. A solid piece of philosophical poetry.
