No one

No one

A Poem by Soren

I have bathed in the rain

Slept in the snow

Journeyed through the dark of night

I have felt nature's pain

watched trees grow

wrestled a hurricane's might

serenaded by coyotes

slept in the depths of a cave

felt the sun's warmth on my back

enchanted by a frog's notes

lifted by a wave

been swallowed in an earth's crack

I've lived in the clouds

I've lived in the sand

I've lived in the forest green

I've been clothed in shrouds

I've survived by my own hand

No one has seen what I have seen

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Excuse the delay in response.
This proves that you love nature to the extent that really immersed yourself in an incredible journey, pushing yourself to limits others would not think of doing…good for you!
Warmly, B

You have lived and loved Mother Nature. I am not far behind you. A glorious celebration of her gifts. Truly beautiful words here.

Oh the things you have seen!
So much nature in this poem, which is always welcome for me. With the flow of the rhyme and the subject of nature there is something so calming about this poem.
I very much enjoyed the read!

Mother Nature...no matter what we do to her, she survives with a lot of help from her friends.
I think the Beatles sang about this.
Lovely imagery here.

Thanks Jacob for the review and most generous words.
A bunch of conflicting experiences. The bravery, The suffering s, on the other hand highly philosophical like higher consciousness. This is masterpiece my friend.

I believe it. Wrestling with hurricanes, being swallowed by the earth and dressing in shrouds is beyond the means of most of us, not to speak of the inclinations.

That was fun to read and the good thing, I am in Texas and I know there are two ways to pronounce coyotes.
One is Cai-yo-tees and the other is Cai-yotes. So for me, your rhyming is spot on. : )
