Simultaneous

Simultaneous

A Poem by Soren

I've lived this life a billion times
No memory of any
Synchronous second to year
Future and past all the present

Layers of nothing
Bent twisted transparency
Evaporated mirage
Dehydrated dreams

Eating apples from a tree not yet planted
Drinking rain not yet fallen
Bleeding from a wound healed
Speaking with dead lips sealed

Thanks Pat for the read and kind words they are most appreciated.
That encapsulates my general conceptualisation of ‘everything all at once’ and always. So happy to have ‘stumbled’ upon this gem 🙏🏻 good reading here Soren.

Thanks Thomas your words are most appreciated.
Reading the poem made me think of the continuity of existence beyond the bounds of flesh. I thought of a millions years lived, countless lives lived, tasting the same rain, breathing the same air and dreaming the same dreams. The last 2 lines are just awesome. You're such a deep thinker, dear Soren. There's always something to think about, on your pages.
