In the mist of dreams time weaves its way

light shard deflections in steaming ague

Life it seems is but another day

murky reflections in faded fog

Interesting symbolism, and perhaps slightly cynical in outlook; but that's probably understandable - with our modern world as it is. Sometimes, our thoughts can seem obscured by mental fog; and the clear light of new perspectives upon life - can be most illuminating...?

I like this beautiful poem very much, so descriptive, with so much said in so few words. It is so true that time weaves its way into the mist of our dreamtime if we suffer from an illness like malaria, etc. We are inclined to remember things we haven't thought about for years, things which would not enter our everyday consciousness. In the lifting fog, the feelings become dim as one gets better. Very nicely expressed too! Thank you for sharing, Soren. Lovely work...
