A Poem by Soren

Each ring one more year
Some thick, some thin, dark or pale
Still growing with light

The rings on the tree signifies a year of life. With light the tree continues to grow to an amazing age and size. Resplendent poetic gem! Thank you for sharing, dear friend...

Most welcome always, dear Soren...
Each ring another year - It's amazing to realize some of those trees are hundreds of years old. I loved this well written little gem :) Julie

You are too kind Ken your remarks are deeply valued coming from a wordsmith like you. Thank you
And the stories those rings could tell. That’s the thing about a living history like tree rings, there’s still time to learn and change from whatever it is you’ve experienced already. This was short but there is so much to think about within it.
