Night

Night

A Poem by Soren

Night dressed in sparkling light
A velvet sequined gown surrounds
A glowing smiling face
Whispers blown from a lost voice past
A sultry kiss of a siren breeze
Memories echo from a shadowy grave
Covered in a soft dark blanket of time
Where the dirt of years
Covers a casket of rotting fears
Watered with golden tears
Molten light pouring from sunrise

A poem of beautiful contrasts. Lovely poetic expression which touches this reader on a number of levels. Lovely, Soren.

Thank you, Chris. Your words serve as great support and are deeply appreciated.
there's too much i like about this that i dont know where to start. it is extremely clever, the way images and wods work both against and for each other. i shall re-read this work in a later time, maybe i will find my voice then, but for now i leave you with a BRAVO!
