Glory of naught

Glory of naught

A Poem by Soren

Empty echoes left behind fill a parched vapid mind
A hollowness eats away what was left of yesterday
Glimmering glitter, reflections blind, flickering joy does us remind
Shards of memories display festering sores of decay
Rainbow bubbles pop and pour 'or a foaming sieve like floor
Shiny dreams shattered strewn and scattered
A face of sand you wore, once touched it was no more
Evaporating in time spattered, lost crumbled was all that mattered
In debris of rot find, past glory of naught, enshrined

Thank you so much Thomas
…to chase after naught is naughty to my thought and yet naught is so beguiling even to the trained heart and eye!
