Double

Double

A Poem by Soren

Doppelgangers for everyone, someone else out of eight billion
A physical equal from birth, a  mirror projection on earth
Where looks are the same, but what of the brain's claim?
Doppelgangers of the mind, our and their thoughts aligned
Both identical mentality, mirrored images in logic and personality
In time so vast could we have had a double in the past?
We live in a world matrix where genetics plays tricks
In all of plurality there is no individuality

There is always a double somewhere...I guess we have no patent on our own selves.
No patent at all. And now with AI we are going to end up with no originals, just copies with not their own thoughts.
Scary stuff here...but not only possible, but probable.
